The CVC Capital Partners have a minority stake in the Spanish Football league La Liga, own three rugby teams, and launched Volleyball World in 2021. The company previously held a 14.1% stake in Formula One as well from 2006 to 2017 and sold the stake for a huge profit.

The 5-time IPL Champion Mumbai Indians owner, Mukesh Ambani is the 9th richest person in the world. According to Forbes, Ambani has a net worth of $100 Billion in March 2022. He is the managing director and chairman of Reliance Industries, which are the giants in the space of energy, petrochemicals, natural gas, retail, and telecommunications. Over the years, he has been an avid supporter of the team and is present in the stadium when the team contests the playoffs.

According to Forbes, the co-owner of Lucknow Super Giants Sanjiv Goenka has a net worth of $2.5 Billion. Goenka is the founder and chairman of RPSG Group, with businesses in the area of power and energy, carbon black manufacturing, and retail. He has previously owned Rising Pune Supergiant in IPL, which featured in 2016 and 2017. With a good cricketing brain, he was one of the think-tanks of Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2022 Auction.

Kalanithi Maran- Owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad

The owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kalanithi Maran has a net worth of $2.4 Billion, according to Forbes. Maran is the founder of Sun Group, which operates 33 TV Channels spanning multiple languages, 67 FM Radio Stations, and 3 Newspapers.  In the last few years, he has stepped into producing Tamil films that have gone to become blockbusters at the box office as well. While the parent company, India Cements has a market cap of INR 6,349 Crores.
