Dwight D. Eisenhower

Born on October 14th, 1890, Dwight David Eisenhower was the 34th president of the United States and served in the White House from 1953 to 1961. Before that, Eisenhower was General of the Army.

He also participated in World War II as Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force. His services were so outstanding in the war that he received a five-star rank.

The famous Operation Torch (where North Africa was invaded) in 1942 was also planned by Eisenhower. Also, D-Day (the invasion of Normandy Beach in France) in 1944 was also a plan by this president.

In 1968, Julie Nixon and David Eisenhower got married to each other. Julie Nixon was president Richard Nixon’s daughter, while David Eisenhower was president Dwight D. Eisenhower’s only grandson.

Julie Nixon Eisenhower is David Eisenhower’s wife and the younger daughter of Richard Nixon, also president of the United States.

After they got married, they gave birth to three children. A son and two daughters. The son was Alexander Richard, and the daughters were named Jennie Elizabeth and Melanie Catherine.
