In 2019, Lamborghini sold 8,205 vehicles worldwide. This number is quite small compared to some of the larger car manufacturers. However, what Lamborghini lacks in volume, they more than make up for in quality.

Some of Lamborghini’s most well-known cars are the Aventador and Huracan. They may look similar, but they are very different cars. This guide will compare Lamborghini Aventador vs. Huracan and help you understand the differences between these two impressive sports cars.

Lamborghini Aventador vs. Huracan: The Similarities

Both cars are considered some of the best Lamborghini models made. If you don’t look closely, you’d say the cars look exactly the same. They both sit incredibly low to the ground with modern LED headlights and large front grilles.

The sleek design wraps around the side of the cars with air venting designed for better aerodynamics. From the back, you’ll see large LED brake lights, a black window spoiler, and a large exhaust.

They sport seven-speed dual-clutch powertrains and run on gasoline.

Both two-seater coupes come standard with airbags that surround and protect you. They have driver, passenger, and front-side airbags.

Lamborghini Huracan vs. Aventador: The Differences

While the two cars have the same powertrain and generally shape, they differ in the details. You can take a look at the exteriors now. The Aventador has sharper angles to the hood, and the grill is significantly more detailing. The Huracan is flatter and less sculpted with smaller headlights.

From the side, the Aventador immediately stands out with a much larger air intake vent that takes up the entire side of the car. The front nose is also much sharper.

Moving to the rear of the car, the Aventador has prominent window louvers that cover the entire window, and the exhaust is in the center. On the Huracan, the exhaust is located on the left and right sides, and the louvers are only on the sides of the windows. There is also a distinct lack of detail.

Performance Differences

There are also some important differences between the two cars regarding performance. While they have the same powertrain, the drivetrains are different. The Aventador is all-wheel drive, and the Huracan is rear-wheel drive.

The Aventador outperforms the Huracan with 759 horsepower, 531 torque, and twelve cylinders, ad 6,500cc displacement. The Huracan only has 602 horsepower, 412 torque, ten cylinders, and 5,200cc displacement.

Optional Features

The Aventador also comes with many standard features, including ABS brakes, air conditioning, CD player, radio, power windows, and power locks. All of these features are optional upgrades on the Huracan.

You need to get behind the wheel to really know and understand the differences. Driving the two cars gives you a first-hand experience of how to cars are different.
