5 Ways to Keep Your Knotless Braid Wig Fresh

If you wear braided wigs and dread looking in the mirror every morning to see that it’s gotten tangled, you’re not alone! In fact, knots in your braided wig are one of the biggest frustrations people have with these types of wigs. Luckily, there are some things you can do to make the lives of both yourself and your stylist a little easier by keeping your knotless braid wig fresh so that they aren’t spending time untangling knots every time they touch up your style!

1) Clean it

Before you do anything else, give your wig a good cleaning. Get out a wig brush or comb and work through all of your knots. Be sure to get in between all of your wefts as well. If there’s too much hair or dirt in any of these spaces, it can cause major damage to your style and even cause tangling. Remove all knots with a pair of scissors if you can’t untangle them with just your fingers and one tool. The fit of your wig should be snug enough to hold everything in place; some people find it helpful to have someone else adjust their cap for them so they can get an idea of how it will look in public. 4) Store it right

The biggest thing you can do to keep your wig fresh is store it correctly. Never wear a wet wig, and remember: It’s a lot like taking care of your natural hair!
