There are different typologies of the gable roof that deviate from the norm: the “flat gable roof” has a slope of no more than 30 degrees. The “angle roof”, on the other hand, has more than 45 degrees. There are even saddle roofs with more than 60 degrees. These are called “Gothic roofs”. Such extreme roof pitches only make sense regionally, if the weather and also the tradition in the construction method require it. The flat roof
